DMPSJ Releases FY25 Safe Commercial Corridors Grant Program RFA
(WASHINGTON, DC) – A request for application (RFA) for the District of Columbia’s Safe Commercial Corridors Grant Program has been released for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025. This program is designed to promote public safety and health through evidence-based activities for residents, workers, and visitors within the area served by the organization and the surrounding area (“commercial districts”).
The Office of the Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice (DMPSJ) seeks to partner with qualified organizations that can provide a range of services including relationship-building, resource connection, safe passage accompaniment, security improvements, substance use disorder responses, de-escalation techniques, crime deterrence, and culturally competent services.
“Promoting and improving public safety and health within our commercial districts is vital to the wellbeing of our community,” said Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice Lindsey Appiah. “This program ensures a cohesive, coordinated continuum of prevention services and supports within our public safety ecosystem.”

Deterring crime and public safety violations;
-
Liaising with residents, workers, businesses, visitors, District public safety and health agencies, direct service providers in the community, and others as appropriate;
