Safe Passage Fiscal Year 2026

DMPSJ announces the availability of approximately $9M in Fiscal Year 2026 grant funds for the Safe Passage program. The Safe Passage program supports students as they travel to and from school and in the community. Safe Passage programming includes conflict resolution, mediation services, and community relationship building to keep students safe and improve student attendance. Safe Passage Ambassadors – trained and trusted adults from community-based organizations – are assigned to schools and work to build relationships with school staff, students, families, and community members.
